A disturbing incident in Uttar Pradesh has come to light where a woman was allegedly molested inside an ambulance while she was accompanying her ailing husband to a hospital. After assaulting her, the ambulance workers removed her husband’s oxygen support and threw both of them out of the vehicle. Tragically, the woman's husband later died during treatment at Gorakhpur Medical College.

The incident occurred on August 30 in the Siddharthnagar district. The woman had initially taken her husband, Harish, to Basti Medical College after he had been ill for several days. Due to his deteriorating condition, doctors referred him to another hospital. Unable to afford the fees of a private hospital, the woman decided to take her husband back home for treatment.

During the ambulance ride, the driver forced the woman to sit in the front with him and, along with his aide, sexually harassed her. When she resisted and tried to call for help, they cruelly stopped her husband's oxygen supply and ejected both of them from the vehicle. The woman also reported that the ambulance driver stole her jewelry.

Her husband, who was severely injured when thrown from the ambulance, saw his health worsen further after being deprived of oxygen. Upon recounting her ordeal to her brother over the phone, he contacted the police. The police eventually took the injured man to the hospital, where he later died.
