Although all four occupants suffered injuries in the crash near Paud, they survived




On Saturday, a private helicopter flying from Mumbai to Hyderabad crashed in Pune's Paud village.


An official with the Paud police department said all four occupants survived the crash, though they suffered injuries.


A private helicopter crashed near Paud village in Pune district. The helicopter belongs to a private aviation company. It was going from Mumbai to Hyderabad, 4 people were travelling, and a thorough assessment of any injuries is being done,” Pankaj Deshmukh, superintendent of police (Pune Rural), told ANI.


Nepal Chopper Crash in Pune 


According to a PTI report, four men and a woman were killed in a helicopter crash in Nepal on August 7.


Krishna Prasad Humagai, the government administrator of Nuwakot district, said four men and a woman were found dead in the wreckage.


In addition to police and army rescuers, two rescue helicopters were also sent to assist in the operation, the official said.


It is located on a forest-covered mountain in the Suryachaur area, just northwest of Kathmandu.


At 1:54 p.m. local time, the helicopter took off from Kathmandu international airport and headed for Syaprubeshi.


Just three minutes after takeoff, Air Dynasty's Eurocopter AS350 lost contact with the tower.


According to local media, heavy rains, fog, and wind caused Iran's then-president Ebrahim Raisi to crash his helicopter near Jolfa, a city on the border with Azerbaijan, on May 20.
